Since our last few lessons were very tarot intensive, I decided to do something simpler again before moving onto a new type of divination. There'll probably be a second, heavier lesson posted sometime this term, but this one will nevertheless be due at the end of the term (May 15).

The focus of today's class is going to be divination with modern technology. Your assignment is simple: use some modern item for divination and be creative.

For example, I am supposed to graduate this semester and will be starting law school in the fall. So I want some general divinatory advice on the subject. I picked up my iPod and hit the shuffle button and used the song that came up as a piece of advice.

The assignment is worth 20 points. You can do the same thing I did or something different, but creativity is a plus. Basically you need to do two things:

1. Explain what you used and how you used it as a tool of divination.
2. Explain your results and what you think they mean.

Don't forget your name and house.
